Site Updates and Development

Here is a potentially exciting new feature to nnclan.net:

After logging in, an Auction House Icon button will appear next to your member/character profile at the top-right of the screen. Click on the button to see a listing of your Auction House history courtesy of FFXIAH.com!

The email notification multi-threading has been implemented so there will no longer be any additional wait times for forum and event inserting and editing.

When editing and inserting new events or adding new forum topics and replies you may notice it takes a while to save. At this point the site is sending notification emails to everyone that forum post or event is being modified. I  am planning to make this a multi-thread process so the save happens quickly and the email is processed asyncronously but please bear with this for now.

The Password Recovery tool is now working, but as a result all passwords have been reset to:
123456

Your username is your FFXI character name.

You can change your password after logging in by going to the Profile Editor (top right of the screen by your avatar). Sorry about yet another password switch but all bugs are fixed now for good.

Now new forum posts, replies and new and updated events will generate email notifications for members.

So far administrators can sign people up for subscriptions. Soon members can pick and choose subscriptions by all, category, particular post or author.

The site has been updated with a new layout and graphics. Check out the forum speech balloon styles!

Roy suggested making an option to subscribe to any content item - news, events, forum topics, etc. to be alerted by email when updates and additions are made. Would you find this useful? I think it might come in handy if you want to be informed as to the status of an event coming up or replies to your forum topics.
